Flying geese

I've got 32 done. And many more in various stages of done. They might become a border on my circle medallion quilt. 

Geese just needing some ironing.

Circle Medallion Quilt

This one is going to my niece who is graduating high school.

I changed from having the entire quilt top be all circles to having a center square because I realized trying to appliqué all those circle down was going to be difficult. But now I have a TON of circles made. So I think one of my boarders will need to be more circles. I'm am making decisions as I go.

Maple Leaf Quilt

My mother was given several totes of fabric, quilting and upholstery, and in amongst the piles were 36 maple leaf blocks measuring 12".

Now it is my duty to find shashing in my stash and not buy any.

I have 2 shades of Maroon in my stash but this is the darker one and the larger piece. I tried to lay out enough pieces with various colors to make sure it would look good with them all (most). I think it will do well.
