Cutting out circles from random stash fabric

How many do I have?

How many do I need?

I am going to back the circles with muslin, slice and then turn right side out, and press.  Lay randomly on a top fabric and top stitch on.  I think I'll do an off white or light light grey since the random fabrics I have cut have some strong colors.  That is the plan for now.
