Hot Pink Feathers

This quilt told me who it was going to when it was just a top that I threw together in 2011. I even bought the backing then. It is now a nice lap sized quilt with hot pink feathers running in the rows horizontally.

Why I thought I was ever going to to need 5000 yds of this color I have no idea. But I have no problem designing a quilt to need it it need be!

Flower Garden

Flower Garden is a commission it has 9 thread colors and 33 fabrics. Raw edge appliqué. Added a crib sheet that matches the backing. 

My mom delivered the quilt today! 

Diamond Road

  Top finished for now. Needs a border or two then to ponder over fancy quilting.

Vectors and Squares

This quilt now has an owner, my 4 year old son, Asa. 

Orange backing

 Forest green old blanket as batting. 

Quilt top feeling a little small. 

Quilt top with middle seam fixed. It needed to be flipped. Then I noticed that the top left 4 x 4 needed to be turned 180 degrees. It was hard to notice at first because the 16 patches and stripes still lined up but the four patch and three patch flip.
