Maple Leaf Quilt

My mother was given several totes of fabric, quilting and upholstery, and in amongst the piles were 36 maple leaf blocks measuring 12".
Now it is my duty to find shashing in my stash and not buy any.
I have 2 shades of Maroon in my stash but this is the darker one and the larger piece. I tried to lay out enough pieces with various colors to make sure it would look good with them all (most). I think it will do well.

    Yes, that looks really good for the background. A very nice find, those leaf blocks are! Some other quilter out there somewhere should be glad to know her handiwork is going to make its way to actually becoming a quilt.
